Before you drive anywhere, a few phone photos are enough. From them we can establish the extent of the damage and prepare an indicative price and repair plan.
What to photograph
The damaged area close up so the depth is visible. Then the whole panel from a distance, so we see the extent and its surroundings. And finally the whole car from the side — for the model and the state of the paint. Shoot in daylight and without flash; flash hides the depth of a groove.
What to tell us
The make and model, year of manufacture and what happened. If it's an insurance claim, say so straight away — the process is different and we'll help with the insurer's paperwork too.
What happens next
We reply with an indicative price and a proposed approach. If needed, we'll ask about a detail or request another photo. The binding fixed price is confirmed in writing after we inspect the car — photos can't reliably show the state of the substrate under the paint.
Why an estimate from photos and not a firm price
Because an honest remote estimate has its limits. Corrosion under the paint, or deformation that doesn't show in a photo, changes the work involved. We'd rather give a range upfront and refine it after inspection than promise a number that later changes.
