What's the difference between polishing and paint correction?
Polishing evens out the gloss and removes light hazing. Correction goes deeper — a layer of clear coat is removed so deeper scratches disappear. How many corrections the paint can take depends on its thickness, which we measure.
How often is detailing worth repeating?
For a car kept outside, usually once a year; for a garaged car, less often. The aim isn't to polish constantly — every correction takes paint away.
Will polishing remove every scratch?
No. Anything your fingernail catches is deeper than the clear coat that can safely be removed — that area needs painting.
Is preparation worth it before selling the car?
A prepared car sells faster and buyers haggle less. We'll advise what's worth doing on your specific car and where the money stops coming back.
