How do I know if polishing is enough for my scratch?
The basic test: if your fingernail catches the scratch, it's deeper than the clear coat and polishing won't remove it. From photos we can judge it more precisely.
Will the repair be visible?
On a local repair we blend into the body of the panel so no edge shows. The shade is mixed to the car's code.
When is PDR no longer possible and painting needed?
PDR works while the paint is intact and the metal isn't stretched or creased. Once the paint has cracked, it becomes a paint job.
Do I have to paint the whole side or is one panel enough?
Usually one panel is enough. We only take in the neighbouring panel where a colour difference would otherwise show.
